Kinja'd!!!

A ‘roided’ up grocery grabber in it’s natural habitat (the grocery store). I parked next to him, but gave him the appropriate 1 space “enthusiast” buffer.

Also a 996 cabrio in a color that you don’t see often.

My boss’ boss’ boss’ boss had one and it is amazing. Putting snow tires on it for him was a bitch though....

Wow, nice wagon. I could drive that for the rest of my life. I would literally leave a note on that car with my information in case s/he gets ready to sell. Hopefully in 10-15 years when I can afford it.

Yesterday I saw a previous-gen (W211) sedan in E63 trim — maybe the second one I’ve ever seen.

They must be pretty popular around here as I see them often enough, but this is the first new one that I have gotten up close to. It was super nice.

I would expect nothing less from an area that has freestanding Ruth’s Chris locations sitting around like an Applebee’s :D

The E-Class in my area is almost as common as an Accord, it’s just extremely rare to see anything in a 63. However, I have actually seen THREE separate R63 models back when those were being made — the plant is 30 miles away, so Mercedes cars with “manufacturer” plates are not uncommon.

Haha there is also a freestanding Capitol Grille, and a Morton’s within a stones throw of that Ruth’s Chris. Ya know, just in case you’re not sure where you feel like dropping $80 on a steak.

I give an awkward chuckle every time I see an R class in any trim, but if you told me I could only have a minivan for the rest of my life an AMG R class would have to be it.

I like to imagine there are rich people teasing each other about steakhouses the same way we might argue about BK chicken strips vs McNuggets...

I’m sure it happens, but its probably them laughing about/teasing each other about who’s company is going to eat the expense report.

When I drive the e24 especially, I always make sure to leave at least a couple spaces when possible between me and the next car (I always try to go places at less busy times) and without fail everytime there will be some jack wad that parks next to me in an other wise empty lot. Is it because they like the car? Is it because they assume I’m a douche for driving a bmw? I don’t know but good on you mate for leaving a space.

Same here. I always park at the back of the lot away from the masses. I won’t even take the E46 to certain lots. More often than not a Honda CR-V (or something like that) is parked right next to me when I come out....”really buddy, the whole fucking parking lot and you have to park in the space next to mine and walk a football field to the door.”

I don’t get it either. When it’s another enthusiast car, I’m a little more forgiving as they we’re probably just checking it out as I will their car before I leave. Either way, at least one “buffer” space is just common courtesy.
